The Story Behind Trat’s Provincial Seal

Trat’s Provincial Sea: A Symbol of Sea, Culture, and Connection:

The Trat Provincial Seal beautifully reflects the province’s identity and way of life. At its heart is Ko Chang, the largest island in Trat, surrounded by calm seas that have long been a source of both livelihood and connection for the local community.

You’ll notice pontoons and sailboats featured in the seal—these aren’t just decorative. They represent Trat’s fishing heritage, where generations have depended on the ocean for their income. The sailboats also speak to Trat’s history as a gateway of trade and travel, linking the province to nearby regions and even neighboring countries.

Just like the seal, Trat is more than just a destination—it's a story of people living in harmony with the sea, of rich culture shaped by movement and exchange, and of a place where tradition and everyday life flow with the tides.

📍 Come explore the soul of Trat—where every symbol has a story. 🌊⛵💙
